Chris received his MA from Lesley University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014. He has been a clinician at Mass Bay Counseling since August 2018 and works with teens, adults, couples and families. Chris has worked as an individual and group counselor, and has experience working with a variety of mental health issues.
Chris uses an eclectic approach to counseling, allowing him to adapt treatment based on each individual’s unique needs. He has experience utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and relaxation techniques as needed.
Chris utilizes these techniques to help address various issues such as Anxiety Disorders including Acute and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Panic Disorders, Trauma and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse/Addictions, Relationships, Divorce, Identity Disorders, Coping with Acute and Chronic illnesses, and Grief Therapy.
When Chris is not at MBC, he enjoys woodworking, playing for his senior hockey team, and spending time with his family.
