Pam received her MSW in 1982 from Simmons College School of Social Work. She has been a clinician at Mass Bay Counseling since March,1996 and works with teens, adults, couples and families.
Pam’s specialty areas are Anxiety Disorders including Acute and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Panic Disorders, Trauma and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, Substance Abuse/Addictions, Women’s Issues, Relationships, Divorce, Identity Disorders, Coping with Acute and Chronic illnesses, Death and Dying and Grief Therapy.
Pam’s philosophy is eclectic- to use techniques that are best suited for each situation while trying to help people in emotional and physical pain to feel better as fast as possible!
Pam is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relaxation Techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Gentle Reprocessing, Tapas Acupuncture Technique (TAT) and Hypnotherapy.
When Pam is not at MBC, she enjoys walking and tries to participate in as many walkathons as possible! She also enjoys volunteering, music, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
